1. Preparation

I believe that flying is the fastest and cheapest option. Make sure to look for a place to stay in advance as living can be quite pricey

2. Accommodation

I lived in a shared flat in lisbon and was lucky because a friend had already stayed in lisbon and was able to give me the direct contact of my landlord. Otherwise I would recommend looking at websites that look for flats for you. It is more expensive but you most likely will not get scammed. I can recommend staying in Lisbon instead of on Campus as there is just so much more to see and experience.

3. Academic life at host university

All courses are seperated into Theoretical and Practical classes. The campus is much smaller but can easily keep up with the already rather impressive WU campus. Surf lockers and a Gym are a very nice extra.

5. Every day life in the host country

Public transport works really good, no safety issues and amazing amazing social activities, sport opportunities and events. Uber and Bolt are also really cheap so that sharing an Uver is definetly an option when it comes to getting to and back from the university (if living in Lisbon). About 3 € per person for 30 min ride

The people, the weather and the nature made this one of the best times of my life. Also really good night life!!!
