Hard to find private flats for such a short amount of time, also quite expensive. Student housing (especially on hill head) is more affordable and quite okay. It's quite easy to enroll. As soon as you receive your student ID number, you can apply. Nothing fancy, but convenient for 3 months. about 25 minute walk to uni. right by a nice park.
Campus facilities are gorgeous on the outside, mostly average on the inside. Teaching style compared to WU, is very essay-based. Most exams are online and open book. I can recommend International Human Rights (one of the few classes at Aberdeen that still do in-person exams) and Gender, Law and Society
for the entire exchange
Public transport: easy but expensive. I walked to uni and only took the bus to get to the city. safety situation: very safe social/leisure activities: the university and its societies constantly organize events events: pub crawls, pub quiz, coffee, etc sports options: a society for anything you can think of
The University looks and feels like Hogwarts! Aberdeen is close to the Highlands and other great places to visit (like cliffs, beaches and castles). The University offers a number of cool classes, that don't exist in the WU curriculum. The variety in societies is also amazing (surfing is an option!) The city is full of young people, as it's mostly students or elderly people. Students start university at about 17. Some (that skip a class) start at 16- just keep that in mind.
