I had an interview with two people which was mainly about my motivation to go abroad. I would suggest thinking about that before and also state why you want to go to Queens in particular.
Start your search for accommodation ASAP! Especially for the winter semester it was really hard to find accommodation. The best way to find accommodation is through Facebook Groups called "Queens Student Housing". Be aware of scams though! Also try reaching out early enough to current exchange students as they might know of someone renting out their room. I lived in a shared student house with two other girls. Typically, everyone lives in shared houses close to campus and I would also suggest to find something close to campus as from there everything is walkable. If you can't find something close to campus it's not the worst thing! I lived 25 minutes of walking away from campus but I bought a bike at yellow bike action which was very useful!
The campus and especially the business school is really nice. I really liked the teaching style as I think it was way more personal than at WU. There were a lot of group projects and I would suggest to choose your group wisely in the beginning as they normally stay the same throughout the semester. (For other exchange students grades normally dont matter so maybe don't go into a group with only exchange students). The teachers are all very helpful and want to give you good grades and I can definitely recommend talking to them if you have any questions about assignments etc.
for the entire exchange
I rarely used the public transport as you can usually walk everywhere or I took my bike, but if you need to get to the mall or get groceries I can recommend it and it is free with your student ID card. Kingston itself is a nice city but there are a lot of homeless people. That's why I would suggest living close to campus as there everything is save. once you get further away from campus there are some not really nice areas I would not wanna live in. There are a lot of social activities especially if you like going out. On Tuesdays there is Dollar Beers at Trinity which is where most of the business students go to and it's a lot of fun. On Thursdays there is StageRage at Stages which is one of the other two clubs. My favourite coffee shop was De Mello which had the best coffee. There are a lot of sport options that you can look into on the ARC website. The ARC also has a huge gym which is free for students. In the gym you can also take mat pilates classes which I really liked and they cost around 3€ per class.
I really really enjoyed the time in Canada! I met so many amazing people and we went on trips together to Banff and Vancouver during reading week which was amazing. When I arrived in the end of August it was still warm enough for a few weeks to go to the pier where all the students went during the day and go swimming. Then we had the most beautiful fall before it went really cold for the last 3 weeks of the exchange.
