1. Preparation

Find accommodations very soon and maybe also try to get over your local italian Embassy the italian codice fiscale you need this for a lot of things. My travel choice was flight, because they are fast, cheap and more flexible.

2. Accommodation

Hard to find and very expensive. Contacts will help, ask people who are already there for doing Erasmus, eventually you can switch with them. Other than that check out the resources from luiss and WU regarding accommodations.

3. Academic life at host university

Very nice there very small and lovely campus and very qualified teachers, I like. At luiss it is way more open participation in class, and they are a little more flexible timewise. An interesting thing is that attendence is checked via VPN.

5. Every day life in the host country

Very nice, very chill nothing looks like work, a lot of nightlife and action. Public transport is terrible. Do not rely on public transport exept Subway, it is not an reliable way of transport. Get a lime abbonoment and use rollers and bikes it will safe you. But be careful traffic is dangerous, so always keep your eyes on the street.

Absolutly insane ROI, Luiss is great, italy is great, but rent very expensive and terrible public transport. I think its the best for people who want or need flexibility and easyness travelling to austria or germany here and there as well as people who like enjoying nights out and good weather.
