nothing specific notable, maybe learn a bit of spanish before.
I got a room in a shared apartment in beiro, near plaza del torros. found it through idealista and contacted them directly on whatsapp. Really nice area as its pretty close to the uni and a 15 minute walk to the city centre. So 100% recommend that area. Student residences tend to be really expensive so don't really recommend those. Booked through M2D Rentos and didn't have a living room and in general wouldn't really recommend this company. City is really safe in general btw!
Recommend Professor Alberto Ruiz Villaverde - such a cool professor and interesting course. But the english courses in general are pretty easy from what i've experienced but there's also harder ones i heard. More of a chill vibe than in vienna tho. The cafeteria is crazy, 3,50 euros for a full menu and always good and fresh. Sports facilities are alright, cost a bit tho.
for the entire exchange
bus - 60 cents per drive with the green card you get at the tobacco store but they bring you everywhere. events were alright i heard, but i didn't attend any. If you want the erasmus experience then go for it! But if you want to experience the local lifestyle then just stroll around, be social and the rest will happen naturally.
The city is just beautiful! A soon/long as it's warm it's even better. Really really cheap if you do it right, tapas are incredible and people are really nice. Definitely happy to have lived there for a while.
