1. Preparation

Talk to people who have been to or studied in China. Be prepared that apps on your phone might not be working at all and that you need to use your phone for everything in China: payments, orders etc.

2. Accommodation

We rented an apartment together with another student from WU. The owner was recommended to us by the university since dorm is not available for exchange students. It was close to university and very safe.

It was a great time from which I learnt a great deal and gained a lot. I formed very valuable friendships and learned many new things at the university.
