1. Preparation

Get your Visa as soon as possible and choose student housing as your accomodation!

2. Accommodation

Student housing East Campus Village is the best. Most exchange students are in this accommodation therefore it is easy to get to know the others. The Gym and Dining Hall are also really close by which is a plus.

3. Academic life at host university

The campus is easy to get around by bus or by foot. The classes are relatively easy not too much work more focused on participation with extra points. But be careful choosing your classes look on rate my professor, that gives you a good idea of the workload.

5. Every day life in the host country

A lot of university events for example basketball, tennis, swimming and especially American football. In the fall semester there is almost a football game every saturday which is a full day event. Tailgating - game - going out. There are also a lot of sports classes you can choose from which are very fun. All of the pickleball, tennis, basketball courts are free to use. Athens also has a big music scene so you can go to a lot of concerts. And with about 90 bars there is always some sort of event or deal going on, you are never bored.
