1. Preparation

DACH WhatsApp Group Chat, ask former exchange students, "Anrechnungsdatenbank" before even planning your first WU semesters

2. Accommodation

Stay close to Bocconi (good area, also close to centre) or in Porta Romana. I stayed in a shared appartment (WG) which i found in the Dach WhatsApp Group Chat. Don't stay next to the station (unsafe). Brera and Porta Venetia are beatiful but a bit far from uni.

3. Academic life at host university

Way less interactive, facilities are okay, toilents not nice, in general the academic level is lower, course recoomendations: take a business/finance class for your courses abroad, European Union Law as it is acknowledgable for Europarecht and a Spez. ÖffR., dispute resolutions (boring but easy good grade).

5. Everyday life

good public transport, unsafe in certain areas (near station, Barona and south) - especially for girls at night, a lot of great aperitivo culure and bar hopping - can recommend (Mom Cafe, N'ombra de Vin, Morgans, Tibi, etc.), played Tennis and Padel - easy via Playtomic

6. Exchange semester in a nutshell

Just do it. It is a highlight in your personal and academic life. I had a great time.
