Preparation was quite simple as CBS is a University in Europe with strong ties to WU. If you do not have a proof of C1 English Level, you should get a certificate early enough. Other than that, you can choose your preferred courses early as an exchange student but make sure you have an alternative to every course you choose as you are no guaranteed a spot in each course you choose. The excel sheet WU has for courses that have previously been accepted is very helpful for choosing CBS courses that correspond to WU courses.

Accomodation is very expensive and scarce in Copenhagen, so start your search early!! CBS offers some student housing but not everybody can be assigned to a room. The best way to look for a spare room or flat in Copenhagen on your own would probably be designated Facebook groups. I stayed in a CBS housing complex called Nimbusparken, which is located in Frederiksberg and only a 3-5 minute bicycle ride from any university building which was very convenient. The way to the metro was approx. 8 min by foot. There are single "hotelroom-style" rooms at Nimbusparken with a private bathroom and a kitchen that is shared between 10-12 residents. The dorm is also a good place to meet people when you first arrive in Copenhagen as it is full of exchange students.

The whole campus is located in Frederiksberg and the buildings are quite close together, especially if your mode of transportation is a bicycle. Contrary to WU, most courses do not have mandatory attendance a lot of Danish students work a lot and thus skip lectures. The lecturers try to incorporate the students as much as possible and the number of students in a course is usually not very larger which makes regular interaction easier. Group work is not as prominent as in my program at WU but there can still be some group projects. Exams, however, are usually written and graded individually. At least at master's level, there are not a lot of students failing a course, however, grading is stricter than at WU (at least in my experience).

You should definitely get a bicycle. It is the cheapest and most "Copenhagen" way to get around. Copenhagen is very flat so cycling is very enjoyable, especially in summer. Otherwise, you can take public transportation, which is very reliable and even runs 24/7. However, it is very expensive and is going to add up during the semester. At CBS, there is an introduction week with social program where you can meet new people. The university also has a lot of different student clubs, which you can join if you like. There are multiple gyms close to university and Frederiksberg in general.

I met wonderful people, that truly made my exchange special. Copenhagen's atmosphere, life by the sea, cycling everywhere and enjoying lots of hygge in the city's many wonderful cafes and bakeries really made me fall in love the city.
