Preparig the semester is rather easy the only important thing is to not miss any deadlines (e.g. regarding Erasmus scholarship). But all important infomration is sent to you either by the WU or CBS exchange team.

I lived in Frederiksberg which is where CBS is located. I lived right next to the student residence Nimbusparken. I would highly recommend to apply for the student residences offered by CBS, because it takes all the stress out of the searching process. I did not get a spot through the CBS allocation process, so be prepared that this could happen as well. I found my room through facebook market place and it took 2-3 weeks to find a room. I think Copenhagen does not have the easiest housing market especially if you are on a tight budget.

The campus infrastructure is very nice and mostly modern. The teaching style is very research heavy, meaning that there are lots of readings involved. The grading system is definitely harsher than at WU. Some classes and teachers were very interesting, but some felt very not modern, unflexible and boring.

Copenhagen is a great city to live in. Biking is very essential but also very safe. In general the city is very safe and sper liveable. If you are willing to spend more money than in Austria on everyday live you can basically do every event, sport or other activity you want.

The exchange was amazing, not necessarily because of the quality of the university, but rather because copenhagen is so liveable and the community among exchange students is awesome. I found great friends and had a blast!
