Since we could write only one letter of motivation for all universities, there was no mention of the specifics of the university here. I just placed it on the first place in my ranking. I booked my plane tickets quite early to ensure the prices would not be sky-high. I also booked the return flight in advance, so the price was ok.

I did not actively search for accommodation as I was expecting to get one of the dorms. There are 8 dorms you can choose from. The only problem is the fact that you cannot choose different sizes or versions (single or shared) for different dorms. F.e. if you choose a medium room (which for some accommodations is the only version), this is also your choice for the other dorms. However, even though there are multiple dorms to choose from, it does not mean that you will get a room in one of the dorms. Then you would have to look for other accommodation (f.e. UMEUS) or private accommodation, which as far as I know CBS also helps with. I stayed at Nimbusparken and would definitely recommend it. The location is perfect, multiple grocery stores of every pricing range available with a 5 min walk. Super safe (like basically all of Copenhagen), beautiful park, 8 min walk to the 2 metro stations, bus station right in front of the dorm. ANd most of the university buildings are max 15 min away by foot.

The campus has nice facilities. I believe, almost every building has a cafeteria or at the very least you can grab coffee. The library is nice and big. There over 100 clubs you can join, on almost every topic possible: sports, fashion, wine, choir etc. I don't know if it was just my courses or due to the fact that I chose courses that do not have any group work, but most of my courses were rather dry and theory-based. This is very different to what I had during my master at WU, where almost in every course we had some sort of practical application of theory. I would definitely recommend Neuromarketing, I thought it was very insightful and the only course were I had the opportunity to create something (a model based on researchers' theories). Also, I thought Design and Implementation of Global Strategy was a nice course, where we had a lot of interesting insights from people who work/ed in the discussed sectors.

The metro is very reliable, works 24/7, well connected, within 30 min you can be at the other end of town. The busses are a bit chaotic, sometimes they come, sometimes they're late sometimes they don't come at all. But generally you can get around by bike far easier and sometimes faster. Biking while its raining or even snowing is not the most pleasant though. Even as a girl, I always felt very safe. There are many things you can do in CPH, but most of the exciting things are not happening in the winter (except for the Christmas markets). CBS organises a really cool intro-party week, which I would advise to join. Throughout the semester they also plan many parties. There are multiple gyms that are close to the uni. But I chose Bruce (equivalent of myclubs in AT), it's a bit more expensive but imho worth it. YOu can go to group classes, gyms or saunas everyday

Copenhagen is beautiful! Incredible city with so many things to do and see. You get the chance to meet so many amazing and interesting people.
