The preparation for the exchange semester at CBS was pretty straightforward. The university provided the informations about documents, deadlines, etc. via email. Regarding travel choice: I took the train from Austria. Works pretty well, as there is a direct connection from Hamburg to Copenhagen.

I stayed at Svanevej Collegiate. It's a student housing, which I was assigned to by CBS in Nordvest. The location is quite a bit away from Frederiksberg and the city center but very nice. The negatives there were mainly that it's not that good to meet people and the host is very strict.

The CBS campus is almost as nice as the one at WU. Personally, I found it a bit annoying though that the courses weren't really connected to each other and all started at zero. Only the courses with Maximilian Schellmann were different and required student to actually be engaged. I would highly recommend "Cultural entrepreneurship", and "Management of cultural projects, processes and organizations".

Public transport in Copenhagen is great. The metro is running 24/7. I really only used my bike though to get from A to B. I recommend getting one from Swapfiets. The city is amazing for sports, culture, etc. If you are going in the summer semester though, be aware that it will be very cold until end of march.

I really enjoyed my exchange semester but not for the stereotypical reasons. I didn't have a large friendgroup with loads of people from all over the world. Instead, I used the time as a break from the everyday stress. Aside from university, I mainly enjoyed the Copenhagen and Denmark by myself, read, and cooked.
